She doesn’t die.

A little later, Aizen stabs Ichigo at point blank range.

He isn’t even knocked unconscious.

A little later, Aizen asks Gin if he would stab Rukia for him.

Probably because Aizen’s afraid she wouldn’t die if he did it himself.


Conclusion: Aizen sucks at stabbing people.

Probably because he never actually has to use his sword as a sword.
